| Description: | job hunting advice for moving to a big city and looking for an engineering I'm coming to you all for some career help. I currently live in Southern Maryland. To put it bluntly, I pretty much hate it. I would love to live in a city environment with a seemingly endless amount of things to see, people to meet, and places to explore. I need to find a new job to do this, however, since it is too far of a commute for my current job. I work with the Navy as a contractor in the aircraft acquisition field right now. DC seems to be my best bet for the next step of my career. Anyone else have any other ideas for cities to move to in this line of work? Does anyone have any tips for attempting to move to this area, for jobs in the area, and more importantly, does anyone have any tips for resumes for engineering/government jobs? I'm also looking for some tips on executing a massive application process like the one I'm about to undertake. I don't exactly know where I want to work or w |
